If you're unsure about the driver's identity for an Extra-Care Ride, you have the right to ask for a valid driver’s license or government-issued photo ID before the ride begins. For more on this, see Question 8 below.

Yes, female drivers can offer Extra-Care Rides, provided they meet the eligibility criteria set by ProximaRide.

Absolutely. A ride can be both, as long as the driver and all passengers meet the eligibility criteria for each ride type.

Drivers must meet the following conditions:

     ✔     Completed at least 10 rides previously

     ✔     Maintain a review score of 4.5 or higher

     ✔     No negative reviews for safety, behavior, or reliability

     ✔     No reports of speeding or reckless driving

     ✔     No incidents of conflict with passengers or third parties during a ride

     ✔     No cancellations after confirming with passengers

     ✔     No no-shows

     ⏺     Note: If a negative review is received, the driver may request a review by ProximaRide to determine if it can be exempted.

     ✔     New users are welcome to book Extra-Care Rides.

     ✔     Once reviewed, passengers must maintain a 4.5+ rating.

     ✔     Must not have any negative reviews, or have them formally exempted by ProximaRide.

     ✔     Must never have caused disturbances or conflicts during past rides.

Only if the replacement passenger is a verified ProximaRide member who meets all Extra-Care eligibility criteria. The driver has the right to request both a government-issued photo ID and the passenger’s ProximaRide profile for verification.

     ⏺     Note: If the driver is not comfortable with the substitution, they can refuse the ride. This will be treated as a no-show.

For Extra-Care and Pink Rides, yes. Passengers may request to see your driver's license. However, they may not hold it, copy it, or photograph it—only view it while it's in your hand.
For regular rides, this is optional and based on mutual agreement. If a dispute arises, ProximaRide will investigate and issue a final decision.

     ⏺     Important: This right applies only before the ride starts.

You may request to view the driver’s license before the ride starts for Extra-Care or Pink Rides. However, you may not take photos, hold it, or make copies.
In regular rides, this is subject to the driver's agreement. If any dispute occurs, ProximaRide will conduct an investigation.

     ⏺     All concerns must be reported before the ride, and decisions made by ProximaRide are final.

If the driver notifies you before the ride that a different verified driver will be replacing them, you have two options:

     1-     Accept the substitute driver and proceed with the ride as planned.

     2-     Decline the ride and receive a full refund, no matter when the change was communicated.

If the driver fails to inform you of the change in advance, you have three options:

     1-     Refuse the ride and receive a full refund.

     2-     Take the ride but receive a 50% refund.

     3-     Take the ride and waive the issue; the full fare goes to the driver.

     ⏺     Important: You must leave a voicemail before the ride to be eligible for a refund.
